Holt Ballet Conservatory, located at 400 Providence Mine Road, Building N2, Nevada City, California, provides Nevada County with quality, authentic, and joyful training in the arts of classical ballet.

Holt Ballet’s Fall Term, 2024, offers comprehensive classes in all levels of ballet, from classes for 3 and 4 year olds who by introducing them to concepts in musicality, rhythm, and social cooperation, through programs that support pre professional training for college or career bound classical ballet dancers. HBC includes entry level morning classes for adults who want to train to acquire the skills of the accomplished ballet dancer, or to use ballet training concepts to sculpt and strengthen muscle and bone into capable and healthy exercisers.

HBC also boasts, in additional to a full curriculum in classical ballet, production ballet, production contemporary and musical theater for advanced and beginning dancers, as well as classes in classical ballet for adults, progressing ballet technique, stretch and strength, and opportunities to showcase the dancers’ training in its winter Clara and the Nutcracker. HBC’s staff include teachers with backgrounds that include experience as classical ballet artists with performing careers, and also extensive training in the concepts of early childhood education and beyond.
